One-Of-A-Kind Vis-a-vis Carriage
Our beautiful vis-a-vis carriage has old world charm and has been "customized" with lots of chrome including two chromed exterior lamps. The hand-tufted velvet interior goes well with all color schemes. Our hand-made carriage was designed, built, and customized by Johnny Raber, a 3rd generation Amish craftsman who has been internationally recognized as being one of the top carriage builders.
Carriages and Horses
Weddings, elegant events, anniversaries, special occasions,
parades, quinceaneras, and funerals...no matter what the occasion we can help make it a memorable event. Our horses are freshly groomed the day of your event. Our carriage has also been customized with extra wide 54" seats, which seat six normal size adults very comfortably, and stretched to allow more passenger leg room. All metal hardware such as handrails, brakes, hubs, and steps have been chromed for an added touch
of class. Our carriage is pulled by one or two majestic Percheron draft horses.
The carriage can be open, covered,
or completely enclosed with clear plexiglass side curtains for inclement weather. Carriage travels 15-20 minutes
per mile, traffic permitting.
Don't Worry...
A beautiful horse drawn carriage is a memorable experience for all! Our Percheron draft horses have quiet dispositions and are very people oriented.
When should I make Reservations?....
Reservations should be made from six months to a year in advance. Consulting is available by phone at no charge. A
non-refundable retainer of $150.00 per carriage will reserve your date.
Event dates will be confirmed only upon receipt of retainer and completed
reservation-agreement form. Retainer will be honored according to the date
postmarked on the envelope. The non-refundable balance in full, payable
by cash or check, is due thirty (30) days prior to the date of the requested
carriage service.
Special Touches....
Because of all the chrome our carriage looks very elegant without added decorations. However, upon request, we can add white silk rose floral arrangements at no charge. The horse's mane and
tail can also be decorated to match the color scheme of your wedding for an additional charge of $25.00.
Attire
Your driver will be dressed in formal attire complete with tux and tails, vest, top-hat and white gloves.
Are the carriages allowed on public streets?....
In Arizona our horse-drawn carriages are permitted to travel any public street, except for the freeway system, since all of our carriages are equipped with all the necessary safety equipment.
Sanitation
Our carriage is always welcome at churches, reception halls, restaurants,
exclusive resorts, private golf clubs, etc. Carriages have the same privileges
on the street as motorized vehicles. All horses are equipped with "manure catchers"
which discretely catch all manure.
Photographic Opportunities....
are endless using our carriage. We can provide you or your photographer with ideas on using the carriage for different poses. The bridal party, parents and grandparents can also use the carriage for portraits.
Other Horse-drawn Vehicles Available!
We have wagons available for events such as parties, parades, family reunions, company picnics, etc. For example, our 12-passenger wagonette can be used to transport the remainder of your wedding party to the reception area. Share the experience of riding in a horse-drawn vehicle with your guests.
